Eyebrow Transplant in Turkey: Restore Full, Natural Brows
Whether from over-plucking, genetics, or medical conditions, eyebrow transplants can restore your brows permanently.
What Is an Eyebrow Transplant?
An eyebrow transplant uses FUE or DHI techniques to transplant hair from the scalp to the eyebrow area. It's a permanent solution for thin, sparse, or missing eyebrows caused by:
• Over-plucking or waxing damage
• Genetics (naturally thin brows)
• Alopecia or other medical conditions
• Scarring from injuries or surgery
• Chemotherapy-related hair loss
• Ageing-related thinning
The procedure typically requires 200-400 grafts per eyebrow, making it a smaller procedure than scalp transplants. However, it requires exceptional precision because eyebrow hairs grow at very specific angles and directions.
The Procedure
Eyebrow transplants require the highest level of artistic skill:
1. Design: The surgeon carefully designs the eyebrow shape, considering your facial structure, symmetry, and preferences. This is done with your input and approval.
2. Extraction: Fine, single-hair grafts are extracted from the back of the scalp. Only the thinnest hairs are selected to match natural eyebrow hair.
3. Implantation: Using DHI (Choi pen) technique, grafts are implanted at extremely precise angles — eyebrow hairs grow almost flat against the skin, and the direction changes across the brow.
4. The procedure takes 3-5 hours for both eyebrows.
DHI is strongly preferred for eyebrow transplants because the Choi pen provides the angle control needed for natural-looking results.
Recovery and Maintenance
Recovery is similar to other transplants but on a smaller scale:
Days 1-7: Small scabs around each graft. Avoid touching or wetting the area.
Days 7-14: Scabs fall off. Mild redness may persist.
Weeks 2-4: Shock loss — transplanted hairs fall out. New growth begins at 3-4 months.
Months 6-12: Full results visible.
Important maintenance note: Because the transplanted hair comes from your scalp, it will grow longer than natural eyebrow hair. You'll need to trim your eyebrows regularly (every 1-2 weeks) to maintain the desired length. This is a permanent commitment but becomes routine quickly.
Cost for Canadians
Eyebrow transplant costs:
• Turkey: $1,800-$4,000 CAD (all-inclusive)
• Canada: $6,000-$12,000 CAD (procedure only)
Many clinics offer eyebrow transplants as an add-on to scalp procedures at a discounted rate.
